My approach to writing haiku is best
summed up by the word truth. The best of
haiku conveys a moment of oneness with ones
surroundings. An experience that magnifies
sights, sounds, and filters out all conveyances.
There is no room in haiku for frilly words only
feelings conveyed by a stark image of human
connection. One brings to haiku their own
feelings, images and experiences. The writer
paints a picture on a canvas and the reader
brings it to life.
